Nigel West After beginning his career with Eagle Star Insurance Company in 1987, Nigel joined Fiveways Insurance Group in 1990. Initially, he managed the branch office in Shrewsbury, which was consolidated into the Newport office in 1997, and in 1999 became a director. He took over as managing director, with responsibility for running and developing his family business, in 2006. Nigel holds numerous industry qualifications and is a member of the Chartered Insurance Institute. Active within his local church, Nigel also enjoys playing piano and socialising with friends.

Lisa West Lisa has worked in the insurance industry since 1987, initially with a Shropshire broker and then in the personal accident department of an American insurer in Bristol. She joined Fiveways Insurance Group in 1990 and managed the company’s Shrewsbury office alongside husband Nigel before moving to the Newport office, initially administering personal and commercial insurances and more recently handling the accounts of the business, payroll and insurer reconciliations. As well as being involved in a variety of church activities, Lisa enjoys caravanning, reading and walking the family’s dog.

Emma Lewis Emma completed an HND in Tourism & Hospitality Management but then opted to make her career in the insurance industry, joining Fiveways Insurance Group as a trainee in 2002. Today, as well as being an insurance consultant and broking executive, she is the company’s training and competence manager. Emma holds the CII Certificate and is a member of the Chartered Insurance Institute. In her spare time Emma enjoys step and boxercise classes.

Danielle Dudley-Pooler Danielle joined Fiveways Insurance Group in July 2012 after doing 2 weeks work experience with the company as part of her GCSE studies. Danielle completed her Chartered Insurance Institute approved apprenticeship back in 2013 and has recently completed the CII Certificate in Insurance and is Cert CII qualified as well as playing a part in the development of our IT system. As a general insurance adviser, Danielle helps clients to arrange car, home and travel insurance, as well as assisting with amendments and claims. In her spare time, Danielle enjoys spending time with family and socialising with friends.

Daniel West Daniel has joined the company to develop a new scheme that Fiveways has set up. The scheme, branded as Greenways Electric Vehicle Insurance offers insurance for electric and hyrbid vehicles. When the opportunity arose to join the family business, Daniel decided to return to Shropshire after spending four years in London studying Airline and Airport Management. He gained valuable skills throughout his degree to which he can transfer to his new role. He has recently completed his Certificate in Insurance and is Cert CII qualified.

He is currently undertaking an apprenticeship in business admin, as well as currently training in private car and household quotations and claims. Nick Anthony Nick Anthony has spent his entire career in the insurance industry, joining Fiveways Insurance Group in 1990 straight from school. He has been an integral part of the team based at the Stafford office for more than 25 years and in 2014 took over the Management role as Branch Manager. Nick continues to liaise with customers to tailor personal and commercial insurance policies to meet their needs as well as being responsible for negotiating terms with insurers and for providing claims handling support. He lives in Walton on the Hill and spends his free time playing football, mountain biking and entertaining his three children. In 2013, Nick ran the London Marathon for Katherine House and in 2016, ran it again for Birmingham Children's Hospital.

Hazel Murray Hazel has worked in the Insurance Industry for over 30 years starting her career with Fiveways Insurance in 1986. During her career she has gained a wealth of experience dealing with both consumer and commercial clients, handling claims and overseeing conduct to ensure FCA regulations are followed. Hazel holds the CII Certificate and is a member of the Chartered Insurance Institute. She has now re-joined the Group and is now a Commercial Account Handler and the Branch Compliance Manager. During her free time she enjoys going to the gym and taking part in bootcamp.
